Pause in Painting

Forgive me for not painting as I've suffered the loss of my precious friend and dog, Rocco. He was put to rest after they discovered tumors that were causing him to lose some bodily functions. I was so caught off guard by this, and I'm left in tears. I miss him so much already--his presence in my house and greeting me when I come home for the past 6 1/2 years. Don't be surprised if you see a painting or two that I might share with you. I painted him a few times....He was a handsome boxer. I plan to be more myself in the coming days. Be blessed...

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. They can be so much a part of the family--I know, I've lost a friend before too. Best to you.

I am sooo sorry to hear that. I am currently battling the same problem with my Black Lab Lexus. She had a tumor removed that was cancer and the vet said the long term diagnosis was not good. If you are anything like me, your animals are a part of your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Yes, Zuerk, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers--that is not easy. Rocco left us quite suddenly--I don't know which would be worse...Yes, they are part of the family--Rocco was in the middle of everything! Now he's in dog heaven, I know. He was precious all the time--not a mean bone in his body....
